Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Create a Fillable PDF website, API, dashboard, and related services (the "Service") operated by Create a Fillable PDF, Inc. ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

This is a starting template. Have it reviewed by counsel before relying on it.

1. The Service

We provide an API and tools that detect form fields in PDF documents and return fillable PDFs and a field schema. You are responsible for the documents you submit and for having the right to process them.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials and API keys secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account and keys.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to process content you lack rights to, to violate law, or to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service. See our Acceptable Use Policy.

4. Plans, billing, and usage

Paid plans are billed in advance. Usage above included pages is billed at the overage rate shown on the pricing page. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or our refund policy.

5. Your data

We process documents only to provide the Service and delete converted files within 24 hours. We do not use your documents to train models. See our Privacy Policy and DPA.

6. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as is". We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Termination

You may cancel anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
